‘A beautifull choice of materials from TBM, really setting off the character of our home”

At TBM, we believe even the smallest projects deserve considered design and high-quality execution — and this one was no exception.

Tasked with replacing a broken, uneven concrete path to the rear of this late-1800s property, we set out to create something that was not only practical and safe but also in keeping with the building’s heritage character.

We carefully selected materials and designed a layout that would complement the age and charm of the property. The rich, varied tones of the block paving and the traditional herringbone pattern were chosen to evoke a timeless feel, while the stretcher course edge provides structure and clean definition.

What was once a trip hazard is now a level, functional, and visually striking walkway. It’s a transformation that blends subtle detailing with everyday usability — proving that even small spaces can make a big impact when the design is right.
